THE HISTORY of SINGLETON GOLF DRIVING RANGE
Since 1972, this driving range has been a part of the Titusville community. Thousands of golfers, from beginners to professionals, have utilized the full-club practice range. Whether it was learning the basics or honing specific skills, the driving range adjacent to Dunn Airfield will always be a resource for local golfers.
In 2017, the driving range was purchased and renovated by Niall Concannon. He renamed the range to Singleton Golf Driving Range and made some high tech improvements. He appreciates the support and business as he continues to provide golf instruction and practice for the people and golfers of Titusville, Mims, Port St. John and all of North Brevard.
Hours for the range: 9:00am – 8:00pm
Here are the faces you’ll see when you come down to hit a few at the range. So bring your clubs, grab a bucket and shoot the breeze with the owner and the PGA professional instructor.
Niall was born and raised in Portumna, Ireland and from an early age he knew golf was going to be a big part of his future. At just 12 years old, he became a member of his local golf club, a beautiful 18 hole parkland course in western Ireland.
It was at his local club he knew working in the golf industry was in his future.
Niall gained invaluable golf work experience at the famed K-Club which hosted the Ryder Cup in 2006 and continued to pursue his dream. That lead him right here to Orlando, FL where he is currently attending college with classes in golf management and golf operations. He will also pursue PGA certification as an instructor.
He looks forward to teaching and growing the game of golf in Titusville and becoming a good community partner.
Ed is a professional golf instructor and has been teaching for over 30 years.
“Toki” as he is affectionately known to his friends and family and fellow golf pros, has devoted most of his life to the pursuit of golf. His abilities on the course and his instructional skills have taken him throughout the country, playing in tournaments and winning as both an amateur and a pro in at least one tournament for an impressive 16 years in a row.
Since 2010, he has been coordinating golf and providing instruction here in Titusville. Specifically he is instrumental in the managing of St. Teresa’s annual golf tournament. He was the golf instructor at Royal Oak Golf Course and in his early years, he along with Lee Trevino were involved with marketing for the development of La Cita.
Ed has been a long-time Titusville resident and is thrilled to be a part of the new Singleton Golf Driving Range and helping local golfers improve their games.
